In a recent interview conducted by GamingBolt, with the CEO of Origo Games, Adam McClard revealed some new information about the Playstation 4 GDDR5 RAM.
Mr McClard revealed that the GDDR5 of the Playstation 4 gave the possibility to the developers to increase the immersion of the game.
“The animation in this game is massive. We are doing more frames than most games to date have in total. This needs a lot of processing power.
We also will be updating the game to use 3D backgrounds, unlike the 2D ones we used on the early build. So having room to increase the immersion is key,” said the CEO.
It’s not the first time a developer gives positive feedback about the console’s GDDR5 RAM, although one of the biggest conversations going in the industry is if the Xbox One DDR3 will be on par with Playstation 4 GDDR5
