In a recent report by The Star says that Jade Raymond managing director of Ubisoft Toronto, confirmed that Ubisoft is working on Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, and three more unannounced games.
“There are definitely a lot of plates spinning,” confirmed Raymond, best known for producing the wildly popular Assassin’s Creed series for Ubisoft’s Montreal office. “None of them have been announced.”
“Our business is making games, so we have to make sure we’re making good games, first and foremost,” she said. “I don’t think we can think out the gate, ‘How is this going to be a good movie?’ I don’t know anything about movies. I’ve never made a movie in my life.”
Currently Ubisoft Toronto is working on :
A new Assassin’s Creed game
Two new IP
A New Splinter Cell game
And a Mystery game based on one of Ubisoft’s “biggest” franchises
Miss Raymond also gave some details at SXSW about upcoming games made just for Tablets & Smartphones.
“A good game on those devices is different from a good game on consoles, so I definitely believe they deserve their own franchises,” Raymond said. She went on to say that games with a strong “social” component will become more prominent in the future.
Seems like Ubisoft is hard at work in new games.
The next release of Ubisoft will be Watch Dogs, which will be released on May 27th click here for the latest news on it.
